
Benjamin L.Mapac
Managing Director / CEO
Mr. Benjamin L. Mapac brings over 15 years of banking experience across community and microfinance banking sectors. He began his career at Maymat Information & Publishing Nigeria Ltd before joining Bukuru Community Bank (now Highland MFB), where he served in key roles including Head of Credit & Marketing, Head of Fund Processing, and Head of Operations.
He led the bank’s transition from manual to computerized systems, spearheaded PAR reduction strategies, and introduced the innovative group lending model that grew the bank’s outreach rapidly.
Mr. Mapac holds an MBA from ATBU Bauchi, PGD in Professional Accounting from Nigeria College of Accountancy, and is a Certified National Accountant (CNA), Microfinance Certified Banker (MCIB), and Senior Chartered Public Manager (SCPM). He is an alumnus of Plateau State Polytechnic and Kaduna Polytechnic.
He is actively involved in development work and currently chairs the Bokkos Elite Initiative for Development and serves on the COCIN Bukuru Empowerment & Welfare Committee.

Mr. Zongo Luka Chung, CNA, MBA, MCIB
Internal Auditor
Mr. Zongo Luka Chung has been in the banking sector since 1992, with past experience at Lion Bank Plc and Diamond Bank Plc before joining Highland Microfinance Bank in 2011.
He holds an MBA from ATBU Bauchi, and is a Certified National Accountant (CNA) and a member of both ANAN and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). Zongo ensures transparency, compliance, and internal control in the bank’s operations.

Mr. Chollom Alex Pam, ACIM, MCIB
Head of Credit & Marketing
With a career that began in 1993, Mr. Chollom Alex Pam brings a wealth of experience from institutions such as Lion Bank Plc and Universal Trust Bank Plc before joining Highland MFB in 2011.
He holds an HND in Accounting from Kano State Polytechnic, a PGD in Banking & Finance from Bayero University Kano, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM) and CIBN.
Having served as Head of Operations (2013–2017) and Head of Credit & Marketing since 2017, he plays a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition and credit growth.

Mrs. Laitu Ayuba Bot, MCIB
Head of Operations
Mrs. Laitu Bot brings over 24 years of banking experience, having served in both Jos Community Bank and the former Bukuru Community Bank. She has worked across various roles including Cashier, Fund Processing Officer, Head of Accounts & Reconciliation, Acting Head of Credit & Marketing, and now as Head of Operations.
She holds an HND and ND in Accounting & Finance from Plateau State Polytechnic and an ND in Banking from the University of Jos. She is also a Microfinance Certified Banker (MCIB) and a member of CIBN.
Her expertise in operations management ensures the seamless execution of banking services across all customer touchpoints.
